RESOURCES

     Welcome to Our Resources Page!

We understand that receiving a diagnosis for your child can be overwhelming and challenging. It's normal to have a flood of emotions and questions as you navigate this new chapter in your family's life. That's why we've created this resources page – to offer support, guidance, and practical advice to parents like you who are facing the journey of raising a child with a newly diagnosed condition.

On this page, you'll find a wealth of information, tools, and resources designed to help you navigate the uncertainties, celebrate the victories, and find strength in community. Whether your child has recently been diagnosed with a developmental disorder, a chronic illness, or any other condition, know that you're not alone. Resources, support networks, and experts are available to assist you every step of the way.

Our goal is to provide you with a comprehensive toolkit that empowers you to advocate for your child, make informed decisions, and find moments of joy and resilience amid challenges. From practical tips for managing day-to-day life to emotional support for coping with the rollercoaster of emotions, we're here to walk alongside you on this journey.

We invite you to explore the resources on this page, connect with other parents who understand what you're going through, and reach out if you have any questions or need additional support. Together, we can create a supportive community where every child and family feels valued, understood, and empowered to thrive.

Welcome to a community of compassion, resilience, and hope. We're glad you're here.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@awaoregon.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is a scientific approach to understanding and improving behavior. It focuses on teaching meaningful skills — such as communication, social interaction, and daily living while shaping behaviors that may interfere with learning or independence.

Our programs are personalized for each client, focusing on family collaboration, data-driven progress, and compassionate care. We believe in empowering families to become active partners in their child’s growth.

ABA uses evidence-based strategies to break skills into small, achievable steps. Therapists use positive reinforcement and data tracking to measure progress and make adjustments along the way.

ABA services are delivered by Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Our team is trained, certified, and committed to providing ethical, effective care.

Sessions are structured and individualized. Depending on the client’s goals, sessions may include play-based learning, social skills practice, communication exercises, or functional routines.
Here at Adventures with Autism, we provide full time, clinic based sessions.
